Notorious ex-official of PGO detained in Boryspil airport

On July 25 NABU and SAPO detained notorious ex-official of the Prosecutor’s General Office Dmytro Sus in Boryspil airport when he tried to leave the country. Sus was notified of suspicion in embezzlement of funds by abuse of office and fraud in e-declaration.

However, instead of arresting Sus on July 27 the court obliged him to stay under home arrest for two months.

Sus worked as a deputy head of the so-called “Kononenko-Granovskyi” department, which performed political persecutions, including falsified cases against former Deputy Prosecutors General Vitaliy Kasko and David Sakvarelidze, and AntAC. Moreover, Sus was involved in scandalous kidnapping of the NABU technicians back in August 2016, which led to the peaceful rally aimed at protecting NABU from PGO’s attacks.

Sus was using a luxurious car Audi Q7, owned, according to official information, by a 85-year-old woman, most likely his grandmother.
