NACP inquiries leaded to sanctioning 5 public officials for Conflict of interests violation

NACP informed on AntAC request, that it has hold 219 investigations in cases of conflict of interest, but identified only 36 alleged administrative offences.  Only 5 officials were sanctioned following these investigations and 10 more cases are being heard in courts.

NACP is investigating the cases of conflict of interest without proper legal background, since it failed to adopt regulation on the conflict of interests verification. This could lead to selective justice approach in such verifications.

Meanwhile, NACP have neglected all requests from AntAC to investigate instances of alleged conflict of interest of public officials.

Finally, NACP did not verify yet a single e-declaration out of almost 2 million submitted. NACP  failed to adopt decisions on the results of verification of e-declarations of the Cabinet Members and the President. Since these decisions were not adopted within established deadline, verification of respective declarations may not have any legal consequences.
