Director of Lviv Armor Vehicle Factory, suspected by NABU of embezzlement, was dismissed
Roman Tymkiv was dismissed from the position of director of the State Enterprise Lviv Armor Vehicle Factory. The corresponding order was signed by Pavlo Bukin, CEO of SE Ukroboronprom, on August 28, as informed by the official website of the department.
It is noted that Tymkiv made ineffective decisions which led to untimely repair of military equipment. Due to this, the Lviv Armor Vehicle Factory is obliged by court to pay penalties in favor of the customer.
According to terms of contract concluded with Tymkiv as director of the enterprise, he is responsible for quality execution of orders, failure to comply with which is the reason for early termination of employment relationships.
In summer 2017, Tymkiv was suspended from performing duties of director of the Lviv Armor Vehicle Plant by decision of investigating judge, which according to legislation made his dismissal impossible until the expiration of his suspension.
Officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SE Lviv Armor Vehicle Factory, who are suspected of embezzlement of funds for procurement of engines for the needs of army, were informed about completion of pre-trial investigation in March 2018.
