NACP establishment
The National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) is the central executive authority of Ukraine responsible for the development and implementation of anti-corruption policy. NACP is tasked with administering the registry of electronic declarations, clarifying legislation, verifying declarations, enforcing sanctions for late or non-submission or false statements in declarations.
Additionally, NACP has following responsibilities: 1) assess the state of corruption in Ukraine and develop strategies and policies to fight it; 2) prevent and settle conflicts of interests; 3) monitor political parties finances; 4) cooperate with corruption whistleblowers.
As of January 2020, the Agency undergoes the process of relaunch.
